The ocean at Bahía de los Sueños is so beautifully pristine and inviting that it recently inspired some Bahía children and their friends to clean up another local beach. The kids had been exploring and snorkeling and noticed a few things that had washed up or been left over time.
“They all got the idea of a ‘mission’ to collect as much trash as they could in a couple of hours, and dispose of it back at the house,” said estate owner Dick Peterson. “They were pretty fired up about giving some of their time and care to the environment.” Dick added that at The Bay, fun always involves outside adventures. “It’s pretty rare that we even turn on the TV,” he said. “There’s just too much other great stuff to do!” The junior clean-up crew included Wes Peterson, with Bryce, Cade and Aubrey Dethloff.
